The game quickly received a lot of buzz on the internet eventually leading to the game getting over $8 million in preorders. First launched in January of 2015 Exploding Kittens was only hoping to raise around $10,000. I bring this up because today I am looking at one of the biggest success stories in the history of Kickstarter. Some of the biggest projects on the site have come from card and board games.
